Privacy Policy for Skate Rush

Last updated: September 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Skate Rush: 90s Retro Arcade ("Skate Rush", "the Game", "we", "us") accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you play the Game or visit skaterush.gr.

Information used by the Game

You can play Skate Rush without creating an account. The Game stores gameplay progress and preferences on your device, including scores, statistics, unlocked content, customization choices, challenge progress, settings, and cloud-sync metadata.

If you use the online leaderboard, the Game sends your chosen display name, score, limited run-validation data, and a randomly generated persistent player identifier to our leaderboard service. The identifier is not your Google account ID and is used to keep leaderboard entries consistent when a display name changes. Do not use personal information as your leaderboard display name.

Google Play Games and cloud saves

On Android, you may sign in to Google Play Games Services. With your permission, Skate Rush uses Google Play Games authentication and Saved Games to associate the Game with your Play Games profile and to store and restore your gameplay progress across installations or supported devices. Skate Rush does not receive your Google password. Cloud-save data is stored through Google's services and is used only to provide sign-in, save, restoration, synchronization, and conflict resolution for your Game progress.

Your use of Google services is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Website information

The website uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand aggregate traffic and site usage. These services may process information such as device and browser details, pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, and cookies or similar identifiers. If you submit the contact form, the name, email address, topic, and message you provide are processed by our website hosting provider so we can receive and answer your request.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers only where needed to operate the Game and website:

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or our services, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention and deletion

Local Game data remains on your device until you clear the Game's data or uninstall it, subject to Android backup behavior. Google Play Games cloud-save data and service data are retained according to Google's controls and policies. Leaderboard entries remain available to provide the leaderboard until they are removed or the service is discontinued. Contact-form messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and maintain relevant records.

You can disconnect Skate Rush from your Google Account through your Google Account or Play Games settings. To request deletion of a leaderboard entry, contact-form submission, or other data we control, email us using the address below and include enough information to identify the relevant entry. Deleting data may prevent cloud restoration or remove an online leaderboard entry.

Children's privacy

Skate Rush does not knowingly request or collect personal information directly from children. Players should not put personal information in a public leaderboard display name. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where applicable.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable measures intended to protect information, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable safeguards and policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game, website, or legal requirements change. The latest version and effective date will always be published on this page.
